About the Role
We are seeking a detail-driven Document Controller to join our expanding Document Control team. As new projects continue to onboard, our team of four specialists in Norway is growing---and we are looking for someone who thrives in a dynamic environment with broad interaction across engineering teams, suppliers, clients, and third parties.
In this role, you will be responsible for managing, coordinating, and ensuring the accuracy of all technical documentation flowing in and out of the project organization. You will work closely with engineers and project stakeholders, playing a key role in maintaining compliance with contractual and procedural requirements.

Responsibilities
• Deliver document control in compliance with internal procedures and contractual project requirements
• Register, distribute, and archive, technical documentation securely through internal systems and external client, suppliers and third-party portals.
• Quality check of document deliverables received from internal and external parties
• Update metadata fields in EDMS based on project input
• Implement contractual document control requirements and provide training to the Project Team to ensure full compliance.
• Participate in Project meetings
• Compile final documentation according to external and internal requirements supervised by Project Engineering Manager
• Provide document reports and follow up on project progress
Qualifications and skills
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent.
• Relevant experience from oil & gas industry.
• Experience of working with document management systems, preferably Proarc
• Excellent written and spoken English and Norwegian.
• Organized, punctual, and attentive to detail.
• Able to work effectively under pressure and take initiative.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Team-oriented mindset with the ability to collaborate across functions.
• Demonstrated business acumen and proactive problem-solving skills.
• Drive for results and willingness to learn quickly.
• Strong working knowledge of MS Office.
• Recent university graduates seeking their first professional experience are encouraged to apply.
