We are now looking for 4 skilled Mechanical Technicians to join our team in Bergen, Horsøy.
About the role
The four positions will be distributed across three different teams, each offering a unique opportunity to work hands-on with modern mechanical equipment.
Whether your interest lies in assembly and testing, pumps and rotating machinery, or advanced system testing, you’ll find a role where you can develop your skills and make a real impact.
Key responsibilities include
• Disassembling, inspecting, repairing, and reassembling pumps, compressors, swivel systems, and other critical mechanical components with precision.
• Maintaining and troubleshooting mechanical equipment to ensure it meets technical specifications and company standards.
• Collaborating closely with cross-functional teams (mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic) to ensure efficient operations and timely execution of tasks.
• Preparing and updating technical documentation, including maintenance logs and inspection reports.
• Ensuring continuous improvement by sharing ideas and helping optimize processes and workflows.
• Adhering to Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) standards, while proactively identifying and addressing safety risks.
• Completing and submitting required HSE documentation, such as safety checks and incident reports, to ensure compliance.
• Supporting and mentoring less experienced team members by sharing knowledge and best practices.
We are looking for someone who
• Holds a trade certificate/ fagbrev in a mechanical field, such as industrial mechanics, automotive mechanics, or similar.
• Relevant experience may compensate for a lack of formal education.
• Is detail-oriented, proactive and takes initiative
• Has strong communication skills in English, both written and spoken
• Basic computer skills are required.
It is a bonus if you have:
• Certified crane and forklift operator T1, T4, G4, G11
• Flange work course/Flensekurs
• Pressure testing course/Trykkekurs
• Hot work course/ Varmtarbeidskurs
• Familiarity with LEAN principles (e.g., 5S) is an advantage.
