Are you passionate about Talent Management and curious about what we could do differently?
We are looking for a Director and a Manager to help us strengthen succession pipelines for executive and critical roles, identify and develop talent, and create meaningful development opportunities across Telenor.
*“We have a real opportunity to rethink how we work with Talent Management in Telenor. I want to build a team where we explore ideas together, challenge each other, help each other succeed and give others room to shine.” -*Susanne Larsgaard, VP Talent Management & Pipeline

Our work focuses mainly on Telenor’s Nordic markets: Norway, Denmark, Sweden and Finland. We also support Bangladesh and our Singapore office. English is our working language, and both positions are based at Telenor’s headquarters at Fornebu, Norway.

The Talent Management & Pipeline team is part of the SVP People Development area within Group People & Organisation in Telenor ASA. Both roles report to the VP Talent Management & Pipeline.
Why join us?

Our priorities include executive and critical roles and preparing more people to step into them. The direction is clear, while there is real room to influence how we put it into practice.

You will work with colleagues and leaders across Telenor’s markets and businesses, on talent questions that matter. And you will join a team that enjoys working together. We care about doing good work, helping each other succeed and finding smart ways to get things done. We have high standards, and we also want to have fun along the way.
What you will work on
• Talent reviews and succession planning, with an increased focus on executive and critical roles
• Talent identification, assessment and development
• Talent, graduate and acceleration programs
• Our yearly people review process “People Dialogue”
• Executive recruitment (global)
• Strengthen use of talent data, technology and AI

What we are looking for
You bring solid Talent Management experience and in-depth expertise. Both roles are specialist positions, rather than generalist HR roles, with different levels of responsibility.
• You connect talent questions to business needs and understand the value of strong execution.
• You communicate clearly, work well across countries and cultures, and are comfortable taking ownership.
• You combine quality with pragmatism and can turn complexity into something useful.
• You share your expertise, ask good questions and contribute to the team beyond your own area.

Two roles, different levels of responsibility Director, Talent Management & Pipeline

You will lead key parts of the Group-wide talent agenda and help shape how our Talent Management practices develop.

You bring deep expertise and substantial experience in Talent Management, including succession, talent assessment and identification, talent programmes or related areas.

You are comfortable working with senior leaders, navigating complexity and turning professional judgement into practical solutions.
Manager, Talent Management & Pipeline

You will be a key professional contributor, responsible for delivering and improving complex talent processes, programmes, data and insights.

You bring solid experience and strong subject-matter expertise in Talent Management, succession, talent assessment, talent development or closely related areas.

You are confident working with data and multiple stakeholders, and bring the structure and drive needed to move work forward.

If you want to help shape what comes next, we would like to hear from you.
