We are looking for a skilled and motivated Automation/Senior Engineer to join our client`s team in Asker for exciting study phase projects within the Oil & Gas sector, covering both greenfield and brownfield developments. In this role, you will contribute to the design and specification of advanced automation and SAS systems, with the opportunity to take on leadership responsibilities when required.

Job Responsibilities
• Automation design for study projects within Oil & Gas (greenfield and brownfield)
• Serve as Automation Lead in study phases when needed
• Define, specify, and design automation and SAS systems during early project phases
• Develop philosophies, topologies, I/O budgets, and system descriptions
• Prepare design documents such as Cause & Effect diagrams, Signal and Control Diagrams, and HMI sketches
• Participate in and lead meetings, workshops, and discipline reviews
• Interface with other disciplines, contractors, and clients

Required Education
• Bachelor’s degree or higher in a relevant engineering discipline

Required Experience
• Minimum 6 years of experience in automation engineering for greenfield Oil & Gas or HVDC projects
• Minimum 4 years of experience with SAS systems, design activities, and reviews
• Minimum 4 years of experience with brownfield automation engineering on the Norwegian Continental Shelf
• Experience with automation system design in FEED or study phase projects
• Deep knowledge of relevant standards such as NORSOK, ATEX, PTIL, ISO, DNVGL, and IEC
