We are looking for Controller/Senior Controller, preferably with experience in the MMO (Maintenance, Modification & Operations) business area within the energy industry, to strengthen our Project Control department in Stavanger. As a Controller, you will be an integral part of our finance team, working closely with MMO contracts to ensure robust financial control.
About the position
You will collaborate closely with the project and contract teams and be responsible for financial reporting of actuals and forecasts for a specific contract portfolio. To succeed in this role, you should enjoy working at the intersection of finance and technology, thrive in handling complexity, and manage multiple interfaces effectively.
Responsibilities and tasks include
• Prepare external and internal financial reports for the Client, Project Management, and Finance teams
• Support or lead the forecasting and budgeting process for assigned contracts
• Perform cost and profitability analyses, actively identifying opportunities to improve contract performance and financial results
• Maintain projects and master data in SAP, including project cost and income budgets, WBS, and activity structures
• Ensure compliance with Accounting & Reporting Policies (A&RP) and internal control procedures
Qualifications
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business, Finance, or Economics
• 2--5 years of experience in contract portfolio controlling or similar roles
• Strong team player with the ability to build relationships across multiple disciplines
• Analytical mindset with a results-oriented approach
• Solid business understanding of the MMO area
• Fluency in Norwegian and English

• Enthusiastic, curious, and proactive in seeking information and understanding
• Able to motivate, build trust, and foster strong internal relationships
• Detail-oriented while maintaining a strategic perspective
• Comfortable raising concerns and suggesting improvements
