We are seeking QRM Engineers who can ensure strong quality and risk management while driving continuous improvement and smarter ways of working. About the position
We are seeking experienced QRM Engineers to lead quality and risk activities in our Bergen and Haugesund project organizations. You will implement and follow up QRM processes that ensure compliance, efficiency, and continuous improvement. Experience from oil and gas is an advantage, and the role requires both independent work and strong collaboration skills. You will manage QRM across projects, showing solid prioritization and leadership. Full‑time presence at either office and proficiency in Norwegian are required.
Responsibilities and tasks include
• Contribute to the project management team and support decision‑making
• Lead and manage risk processes, including identification, analysis, and mitigation
• Establish and implement quality and risk management plans in line with requirements
• Coordinate nonconformities, audits, verifications, and drive lessons learned and improvements
• Serve as the main contact for QRM matters with clients, suppliers, subcontractors, and authorities
• Provide QRM training and support the continuous development of quality and risk management in Aibel
Qualifications
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a relevant field. Extensive experience may compensate for formal education
• Experience in quality and risk management within the oil and gas industry is preferred
• Certifications in quality management, auditing, or risk management are advantageous
• Fluent in Norwegian and English, both written and spoken
Personal qualities
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
• Ability to work independently and manage challenges
• Excellent organizational and communication skills
• Self-driven, proactive, and committed to continuous improvement
