About the Role
As a Software Developer - Enterprise Applications, you will play a key role in developing, maintaining, and evolving Multisite Monitor -- a business-critical and strategically important product. The solution supports complex, multi-site environments and is central to our customers’ operations.
The role involves full-stack development, spanning modern web front-end technologies, backend services, and database layers. You will work hands-on with coding daily, collaborate closely with an agile development team, and contribute to continuous improvements in architecture, quality, and development practices.
You will also collaborate with an international development team based in Taiwan, working on related products, ensuring alignment on architecture, solutions, and best practices across teams and geographies.
Responsibilities and key-tasks
• Design, develop, test, and maintain software solutions using modern technologies
• Implement new functionality in Multisite Monitor and related applications based on product and business requirements
• Maintain and improve existing architecture with a strong focus on scalability, performance, and long-term maintainability
• Develop intuitive, web-based user interfaces
• Write unit tests and ensure high code quality through automated testing
• Participate in and conduct code reviews
• Manage tasks, bugs, and work items in Azure DevOps
• Configure and maintain, build and release - pipelines in Azure DevOps
• Contribute to technical documentation and architectural descriptions
• Participate in recurring Microsoft Teams meetings to align on architecture, solutions, and best practices, and actively participate in daily scrum meetings
• Share knowledge and coordinate development across products built on Angular and .NET
Desired profile, background and technical skills
• Bachelor’s degree/Master`s degree in Computer Science, Software Development, Information Technology, or a closely related field
• A minimum of 3 years practical experience with software development and programming in a professional environment, with a test oriented mind-set.
• Hands-on experience with Angular (HTML, TypeScript, and CSS) or similar web frameworks/libraries, as well as Node.js, .NET, and C#
• Experience with database technologies such as SQL, MongoDB, or InfluxDB, message-queue technologies like RabbitMQ, and Git version control
• Ability to translate complex business requirements into intuitive and user-friendly web interfaces
In addition, it is an advantage with experience on:
• Windows Server and network protocols
• microservice-based architectures
• designing and developing full-stack solutions from front end to database
• cloud-based development and deployment
• data analysis, IoT, machine learning, or related technologies
General skills and personal attributes
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, fluent in Norwegian and English
• Proficiency with Visual Studio, Git, and Visual Studio Code
• An UX/UI-oriented mindset with a focus on usability, accessibility, and building intuitive user experiences in close collaboration with designers and product teams
• It is an advantage to have experience with Azure DevOps or similar application lifecycle management tools
• Excellent interpersonal and collaboration skills
• Self-motivated and able to manage own work effectively
• A positive, service-minded attitude, with high moral and ethical standards
