Stillingsbeskrivelse
With Aibel you have a chance to develop your career through a range of projects in renewables and oil and gas. We call ourselves Engineering Pioneers. Whatever our job is, we approach it with creativity, curiosity and a drive to find new and better solutions. First we imagine the future. Then we build it.
To meet the ongoing and future offshore wind portfolio needs, we are looking for a Sub-Contract Specialist to enable predictable and profitable project results in a complex international environment.
This position will hold the role of Sub-Contract Manager in our projects. In this role, you will lead and ensure that sub-contract strategies, performance, and deliverables align with project requirements, customer expectations, and the unique needs of offshore wind contract types. You will maintain strong and transparent relationships with sub-contractors, enable on-time and at-cost project delivery, and ensure compliance with quality and regulatory standards while contributing to effective risk management throughout the project lifecycle. Depending on the contract scope, this role is also responsible for a team to proactively manage multiple sub-contractors.
This project role reports to the Business Manager and functionally to the VP of Operations and Project Management in the Offshore Wind Business Unit.
Qualifications
• Master’s degree in Business Administration, or Supply Chain Management, or an equivalent legal qualification, such as a Bachelor of Laws (LL.B.) or a Juris Doctor (J.D.) or technical qualification
• 10+ years of proven sub-contract management results for international projects
• Proven results in leading sub-contracting teams on international projects
• Experience with FIDIC contracts, English common law, or civil law jurisdictions
Personal qualities
You communicate clearly and effectively, translating complex contractual obligations into practical actions that enable timely and predictable delivery. You are comfortable navigating change and supporting others through transitions, maintaining strong stakeholder collaboration and fostering sub-contract ownership throughout the organization. With strong analytical abilities, you approach challenges with structured thinking and a solution-oriented mindset.
