Start Date: 1 February 2026
End Date: 31 December 2027
Our client is seeking an experienced Safety / Technical Safety Lead to join an exciting long‑term project. In this role, you will take lead responsibility for technical safety engineering, ensuring high‑quality deliverables, compliance with standards, and effective coordination across disciplines.
Key Responsibilities
As a Technical Safety Lead or Discipline Responsible Engineer, you will:
• Develop safety concepts, solutions, and strategies to the required level of detail
• Perform area classification, escape and evacuation analyses
• Work with Passive Fire Protection (PFP) and Active Fire Protection (AFP)
• Handle Fire & Gas engineering and ESD systems
• Contribute to functional safety activities
• Lead, follow up, and coordinate the technical safety discipline throughout the project
• Ensure all work is executed according to relevant procedures, instructions, and contractual requirements
• Monitor and secure progress in accordance with the project schedule
Required Education
• Master’s or Bachelor’s degree, preferably in Mechanical or Safety Engineering
Required Work Experience
• Minimum 10 years of relevant experience within technical safety engineering
• Strong knowledge of national regulations and standards (TR, NORSOK, etc.)
Required Qualifications
• Ability to work both independently and collaboratively
• Strong multidiscipline understanding
• Excellent communication skills
• High adherence to deadlines and quality requirements
• Proactive approach to seeking and sharing information across disciplines
• Strong English skills, both written and verbal
