• Serve as the primary point of contact for all safeguarding concerns involving children or adults, offering timely, relevant guidance.
• Prepare and submit safeguarding incident reports, action plans, and follow‑up outcomes to donors in accordance with contractual requirements and established timelines.
• Act as ADRA Norway’s focal point for safeguarding, ensuring alignment with organisational policies, donor requirements, and international standards.
Qualifications
• Bachelors’ Degree in protection, social studies or equivalent. Masters’ degree is an advantage.
• Minimum 5 years of experience within the international development field or experience working with vulnerable children and youth.
• Experience working with partners from Africa and Asia is an advantage.
• Fluency in English is a requirement. Fluency in French and Norwegian is desirable.
Personal Qualities

• Solution-oriented, innovative and analytical.
• Strong ability to work effectively in teams.
• Agililty to support partners working in complex environments.
• Effective communication in cross-cultural settings, with good pedagogical and relational skills.
• Ability to start and complete initiatives.
We Offer
• A meaningful job with the opportunity to contribute to humanitarian work.
• The chance to actively influence and shape our safeguarding and protection work.
• A multicultural and dynamic work environment.
• Opportunities for professional development and capacity building.
• Potential for a hybrid work setup, with regular presence in ADRA Norway’s office combined with home office flexibility.
