About the Role
Are you passionate about Data and AI, and being part of the digital transformation in the energy sector? We’re looking for a motivated Digital Information Management Engineer/ Data Engineer to join our team and work directly with clients to improve and optimize their data workflows, technologies, and governance practices.
In this role, you will combine technical skills with a strong customer-focused mindset. You will help clients manage and transform complex energy datasets, ensure smooth data flow across E&P applications, and contribute to developing efficient, localized data processes. Joining SLB means becoming part of a global, multidisciplinary environment where continuous learning and collaboration are core to how we work.
What You Will Do
• Provide hands-on technical support to clients, both onsite and remotely, ensuring their data tools and workflows run smoothly
• Troubleshoot issues, guide users, and contribute to tailored data solutions that address real operational needs
• Support data governance activities, maturity assessments, and discussions around data architecture
• Assist with data curation, loading, transformation, and workflow improvements across applications
• Work closely with centralized teams to deliver consistent, high-quality data management and ETL services
• Grow your expertise through continuous training and contribute to knowledge sharing, technical publications, and collaborations with research partners

• An individual who thrives in a technical, fast-evolving environment and enjoys optimizing data workflows.
• A team player passionate about learning, sharing knowledge, and contributing to the broader energy data community.
What You Bring
• Bachelor’s/master’s degree in computer science, Geoscience, Petroleum Engineering, or a related domain.
• 2--5 years of experience working with data management/engineering tools in the energy industry.
• Domain knowledge of Exploration & Production (E&P) data types.
• Basic to Intermediate knowledge of E&P softwares like Petrel, Techlog, Studio or equivalent
• Basic understanding of OSDU
• Working knowledge of at least one scripting language such as SQL or Python.
• Excellent English communication skills, both verbal and written
