At Aviant, we enable autonomous parcel delivery by drone. After starting in the labs at MIT in 2020, Aviant has signed thirty commercial contracts in Scandinavia, flown over 8,000 flights covering more than 100,000 km, built a robust team of 20 people, and taken a leading position in the European drone market. With strong commercial traction, we’re looking for a Partnerships & Growth Lead to help us scale the business by both leading current commercial activities and finding new opportunities.
In this role, you will be responsible for driving new partnerships and owning the business side of project delivery end-to-end. You'll work across three main product lines: drones as first response, healthcare, and last-mile delivery. The work includes: identifying and pitching the right partners for joint projects, building and leading consortia for grants and proposals, identifying the customer needs for engineering, and finding new customers for the healthcare product line. Once initiatives are underway, you’ll act as the business lead---aligning internal resources, coordinating with partners and customers, scope engineering of product delivery, and ensuring projects are delivered smoothly. Just as importantly, you’ll work to make sure current project customers are happy, supported, and eager to expand the relationship. You’ll collaborate closely with the CEO and leadership team, and work cross-functionally with operations, engineering, and product to ensure initiatives align with Aviant’s strategy and capabilities.
You’ll be responsible for:
• Lead feedback back to engineering to customize the platform based on customer needs.
• Winning and growing strategic partnerships that unlock new commercial and funded opportunities
• Building strong consortium and leading partner motions for grants, tenders, and proposals.
• Acting as the business lead on projects and implementations (scope, timelines, stakeholder alignment, outcomes).
• Identifying expansion opportunities within active projects and turning results into follow-on work
We are looking for a resourceful person who is comfortable with responsibility, communicates clearly, and thrives with commercialisation of new technology. Our ideal candidate:
• Has experience in sales, growth, and/or partnerships.
• Has led projects or initiatives with budgets of $1M+ (or comparable complexity and stakeholder scope).
• Has strong project leadership skills and can drive execution across teams.
• Can prioritize effectively and focus effort on what matters most.
