Job Responsibilities:
• Develop and implement procurement strategies with a strong emphasis on cost reduction and value creation.
• Conduct market screening and maintain excellent market knowledge to identify cost-effective suppliers and solutions.
• Prepare inquiry documents for major equipment and services in close cooperation with engineering.
• Perform commercial evaluations of quotations, and issue contracts and purchase orders
• Monitor and ensure delivery within the agreed timeframe, cost, and quality.
• Handle risks, deviations, and invoice processing.
• Ensure all activities comply with relevant guidelines, work instructions, and procedures.
• Continuously work on improvements to reduce internal and external risks and costs, enhance delivery quality, and strengthen collaboration.
Required Qualifications:
• Bachelor's or Master's degree or relevant experience to compensate
Relevant subjects: SCM, Procurement, Logistics, Engineering
• Minimum 3 years relevant experience
Required Qualifications:
• Strong commercial mindset
• Professional, independent and team player. Demonstrating a high level of collaboration skills
• Strong written and oral communication skills in Norwegian and English
• Flexible, Open and Responsible
• Working in a structured and efficient manner, according with applicable guidelines
