Reporting to the Operations Manager, you will be responsible for the mobilisation and servicing of equipment at our Motive AS Workshop.
You will be responsible for the completion of and processing of mobilisation and demobilisation of equipment and for undertaking necessary repairs and servicing of Motive rental fleet. The post holder will ensure all work is carried out in compliance with relevant Health, Safety and Quality guidelines.
About the team:
You’ll be joining our Motive team, who are mainly based in Stavanger. Over the past few years, this team has grown significantly as Motive continues to expand, and our intention is to continue this. Reporting into Operations Manager Norway, you’ll be working alongside an operations team that strive for high quality service of work.
You will also be working alongside a committed and proud Motive team globally that want to play their part in the growth of the business and support each other daily to create a positive, values driven and hard-working professional environment.
Responsibilities:
Adopting the Motive Offshore Group People Values and ensuring their use is embedded throughout day-to-day tasks and decision making.
To be a positive ambassador for Motive Offshore Group Ltd.
Develop strong working relations.
Ensuring all service and maintenance work records are completed and uploaded within the company IT software system.
Safe operation of machinery, hand tools, lifting equipment and ensure job materials and equipment are correctly used.
Mobilisation of all rental fleet equipment in accordance with the Rental Equipment Mobilisation and Demobilisation procedure.
Testing of equipment including flow / pressure testing hydraulic systems and flushing
Ability to read, understand and disseminate technical drawings and converse with the technical requirements of the task in hand.
Required skills / knowledge:
• Significant experience in a mechanical role preferred
• Mechanical, hydraulic and 3 phase electrical hook up experience
• Good knowledge of hydraulic components is essential
• Forklift License preferred
• Good IT skills is a must
• Ability to trouble shoot and problem solve
• The ability to build strong working relationships, internal and external to the organisation.
• Ability to work on own initiative and as part of a team.
• Attention to detail with strong organisation skills.
