As Aker Solutions’ global recruitment partner NES Advantage is now looking for a: Commissioning Engineer - HVAC for an exciting project at Mongstad .

The project follows a 14/21 rotation at Mongstad.
Aker Solutions take care of energy assets in a Life Cycle perspective. From the start to end of production Aker Solutions ensures safe operations, optimizes field utilization, and enables field life-extensions. We do business development and execute modifications and maintenance projects. There is a global trend towards decarbonization, and we aim to help our customers to decarbonize their operations and measure their emissions to manage them more efficiently, for instance by delivering brownfield electrification of existing offshore facilities. Now we explore opportunities in the aftermarket for renewables, to deliver offshore maintenance for the renewable sector when the market is ready. Aker Solutions employs approximately 11,000 people in more than 20 countries.

What will you be doing?
• Execute commissioning activities in line with project procedures and safety standards
• Perform system walkdowns, inspections and functional testing of HVAC equipment and systems
• Ensure HVAC systems are completed and handed over according to project milestones and client expectations
• Collaborate with construction, engineering and operations to resolve commissioning issues
• Prepare and maintain commissioning documentation such as test records, punch lists and handover packages
• Participate in planning and progress meetings, providing input on status and challenges

We think you should have:
• Must have 2 + years experience in Commissioning work within oil/gas industry.
• Must have 2+ years experience with ProCoSys and Pims systems
• Proven commissioning experience within oil & gas, energy or industrial projects
• Strong understanding of HVAC systems and commissioning processes
• Ability to read and interpret P&IDs, mechanical drawings and technical specifications
• Experience working on site or large industrial facilities
• Good communication skills and ability to work in a multidisciplinary team
• Certificate of Apprenticeship, or bachelor’s/master’s degree
