We're currently looking for a detail-oriented Document Controller to join our Engineering team. In this role, the Document Controller will play a crucial part in ensuring the quality, accuracy, and compliance of incoming and outgoing aircraft engine documentation. As we are currently upgrading our document control system, the successful candidate will have the unique opportunity to actively contribute to this transformation, driving efficiency and innovation in the documentation process.
What you'll do
• Prepare document packages for buy/sell engine and module programs, ensuring alignment with customer and IATA requirements
• Coordinate with suppliers and customers ensuring manuals and other required documents are obtained and available for engines and module Item Jobs
• Ensure the quality and completeness of KPI-related documentation
• Act as deputy for back-to-birth and Shop documentation tasks, including printing/scanning
• Contribute to the development and implementation of an improved document control system
What we're looking for
• Experience in document control within an engineering or aviation-related environment
• Familiarity with document management system processes
• Strong knowledge in Microsoft SharePoint
• Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work in a team environment
• A structured, proactive and service-minded approach to tasks
• Confident communicator, capable of engaging professionally with both customers and suppliers
• Attention to detail and accuracy in managing documentation
• Excellent communication skills in Norwegian and English
